Eric Atienza-Sensei is currently a Sandan (3rd degree black belt 三段) in Danzan Ryu Jujutsu with the American Judo and Jujitsu Federation (AJJF).  He is a student of Professor Robert Hudson, Hachidan (8th degree black belt八段) of the AJJF. He has been training actively in the martial arts since 1995.  In addition to jujutsu, he has studied Filipino Martial Arts, Wing Chun, Qi Gong, Judo, and Aikido.  He has also completed modules 1 & 2 of the Danzan Ryu Seifukujitsu Therapy Course.   An active duty military service member, he has trained multiple security units in unarmed defense tactics as well as conducted maritime security and interdiction operations in the Arabian Gulf. A graduate of the 2003 Kodenkan Jujitsu Okugi, he has been awarded a Kaidensho by Professor Janovich, Judan (10th degree black belt十段).

 

Peter Sweeny-Sensei began his studies in jujutsu in Northern California in 1990 with Sensei Tim Merrill, Godan (5th degree black belt 五段) of the AJJF.  Since 1994, his sensei has been Professor Robert Hudson, Hachidan (8th degree black belt八段). He is currently ranked Sandan (3rd degree black belt 三段) in the AJJF.  In addition to jujitsu, his martial arts training includes Aikido , Tai Qi, and Qi Gong, and he has completed modules 1 and 2 of Danzan Ryu's Seifukujitsu Therapy course. He is a veteran of the US Navy having served during Operations DESERT SHIELD and DESERT STORM.  Throughout his years in training, Peter has traveled extensively studying the techniques and training approaches of Danzan Ryu's finest practitioners.
